Local: Spring Time Slush

I’ve been pretty busy with work, but am still getting in time to make turns in the spring conditions. We’ve had a really dry month here in Colorado this past March, and our snow conditions are quickly turning into surf sessions. I’ve been riding the Never Summer Cobra, and the Skunk Ape Horse Power with Flow binders for the end of the season, and will have write-ups coming shortly. I’ve also been keeping tabs on the condition of my Vans Cirro boots to see how they’ve held up for the past two seasons now. They are finally starting to see some wear, but are still holding solid.

I’ve been riding with a few friends, and we’ve had the contour cams out while making turns.  I’m riding with the Contour Plus, which also has GPS functionality, and shoots at 60fps in 720.  I’ll have thoughts coming on that as well.  Overall, the season has been a blast, and I know I’ve been slacking on reviews, but will have some new write-ups coming shortly.   We’re all a fun loving group, and we all like to just hork around.  Today we ended up wrestling while skating to the lift in front of the EpicMix Photographer..
