Freebie: Have a Big Noggin?

Written by JT. Posted in Freebie

In the spirit of the holidays, I have a Bern Baker Hard Hat in the XXL Sizeway (I’d say it fits more like a L/XL size) in bright green that is up for grabs.   How does one get this little gem?    Simply leave a comment below stating whatever you’d like, and I’ll randomly pick someone to win this.    I only have one hard hat, so it is what it is.   Just a bit of full disclosure:  From Bern’s Website “Hard Hats with Brock soft foam do not meet the standards for action sport head protection.”    Simply put, this is not a certified helmet.  Just wanted to put that information out there as well.

Local: Six Days of Shred

Written by JT. Posted in Local, Thoughts

I spent the last six days in a row pretty much riding as much as possible.  Had good friends in town, and hit up Summit county to bounce around the hills here that actually have any resemblance of decent snow.  Honestly though, there isn’t any decent snow.  It’s all man made ice pops, but hey any day on some snow (even bad snow) is a good day right?!

Review: 11-12 Union Atlas Binding

Union Atlas HighBack

Union continues to amass popularity among many of the riders I spend time with, and riders on the mountain.   I’ve been a fan of Union bindings, and was stoked to get my hands on the Union Atlas bindings for some on snow time.  I’ve spent multiple days with the Atlas on a Never Summer Heritage X board.  Having ridden in powder, groomers, and some gnarly ice, I feel like I can finally post my thoughts on the Union Atlas.
