Thoughts: What’s Rocker Got to Do With It? – Part Two

1

In talking about Banana, C2 and Magna Traction in the previous article, hopefully you got some insight into how and why those boards are designed the way they are.  I wanted to talk about Never Summer’s Rocker & Camber technology and Vario Power Grip sidecut technology.  Never Summer recently was awarded a patent on their Rocker & Camber technology. This is an awesome accomplishment for such a small company!  While Never Summer wasn’t the first to look at rocker technology, they were the first ones to really incorporate the technology into their whole board line, taking a gamble in the process.  Let’s take a look at the Never Summer Rocker & Camber (R.C. Thoughts: Now/Here

Anytime, there’s an Absinthe premiere, I’m sure to be there. This year was no exception.  Absinthe, especially in the past few season, has dialed in their filming, editing, production, creativity, and more to provide snowboard flicks, that appeal to just about any riding style. This years premiere was at the Esquire Theater here in Denver.  The Esquire, pretty much a landmark theater in the Denver area, has a great vintage vibe with a really cool staff.  On any other day, you can catch indie flicks, or fun runs of older horror movies. I met up with Travis, and the 720 Boardshop Snow Team to catch the premiere.
