I received my copy of the Snowboard Mag 2011 Gear Guide in the mail last week, and was stoked to see it sitting in the little gray postal box. Local: Movies on the Rocks!

0

I absolutely love premier season, it’s that time when we all get amped up for the coming season.   The air is crisp, hoodies, and beanies abound, everyone is just super chill, and stoked to get to see the culmination of the various companies hard work through out the season.  If you’re in the Denver area, or surrounding area, and can check out the Snowboard Movie on the Rocks event happening Sept 17th, I’d highly recommend it.  Three movies… three insanely great movies, live music, and more, set among the Red Rocks ampitheatre backdrop.  Unfortunately I’m going to be over in the UK during this event, and I’m sure bummed about that, but check out what’s going down! This even is going to be amazing! More information is available over HERE

Since this site is aimed at the bigger rider, I’m going to address the wide boards in the 2010-2011 lineup.  Flow’s been rocking the industry/scene since the 90′s and has improved year over year.  I believe this is their best year ever, with board design, technology and choices abound.  I did notice however, they’ve removed a few things from the lineup which was a bummer to me, but I understand how the market works, and why things must be done.
