Review: ’10-’11 Heritage X
44Of all the boards in the Never Summer lineup, I believe the Heritage can be considered the most interesting. Most people have a “love it” or “hate it” attitude towards the Heritage, but I think those days are now gone. With the introduction of the 2011 Heritage and the Carbonium tech, Never Summer has take a board that was once considered “cumbersome” to ride by some, and turned it into a pure freestyle machine.
Thoughts: Double was cool, but Triple is so much better!
0So we were all raving about the Double Cork. It was the trick to have in your bag at the olympics, and at virtually all contests this past late season. While impressive still. Torstein Horgmo has just busted out with a Triple Cork.. yeah.. WTF right? It’s caught on video, and looks gnarly as all get out..

Progression is happening at such a rapid pace, I’m curious as to when the Quad Cork is gonna be revealed. I’m sure someone is trying to figure that out as I type this.. Ahh snowboarding.. never a dull moment. Massive props out to Torstein, this is just sick!
Thoughts: Last Day of Riding at A-Basin
0Today, I slept through my alarm clock, and had to hurry to get out to the door to meet Travis. We decided to hit up A-Basin today as our last resort riding day for this season. We headed up to A-bay and got there around 9:30 a.m. We both decided due to some meetings etc in the afternoon we’d just take a few runs. Today was particularly fun because Travis was taking out the ’10-’11 Heritage X from Never Summer, and I was out riding the ’10-’11 Revolver again. This was also Travis’s first day on Union Force bindings.
