Local: Rock the Railbender

This past weekend 720 Boardshop hosted it’s annual “Rock The Railbender” skate competition and festival in Parker CO. If you’re not familiar with it, essentially it’s a collective festival, put together by 720 Boardshop, The Chris Klug foundation and more, hosting Skate competitions, live music, food, and fun.

Review: Ride Qi Face Mask

Bandanas, scarfs, masks, and more, are used by snowboarders and skiers each season to shelter their faces from the elements.  Each comes with their own caveats though.  Bandanas usually freeze up on me, making them stiff and pretty much useless.  Scarfs, well not for me, and the various face masks I’ve tried, I haven’t really liked to this point.   Shay over at Shayboarder.com pointed me towards the fellas over at Ride Qi, and their new facemasks they’re putting out.

Review: ’10 Sierra Reverse Crew

If you’re not familiar with SierraSnowboard.com, it’s not just a retailer website, but also a community of skiers and snowboarders.  Regardless of any of the drama lately regarding blog posts, forum posts or what not, Sierra sells gear for skiing and snowboarding at pretty much insane  (out of control)  prices most of the time.  With that being said, they also offer their own line of boards manufactured for them by a few different companies.   This particular board, the Reverse Crew is manufactured by Burton in the shape of the Custom V Rocker, with the internals of the ’10-’11 Burton Process.
