Thrifty Spending..
So often times people will ask me where I get my gear, or perhaps how they can find a great price on a specific board they are looking for. I'm not a super shopper, but I do tend to research the price of gear prior to purchasing it. First I figure out what I want to find, and then the magic can begin.
Let's discuss Froogle shall we? www.froogle.com is the google shopping engine, if you will. It will go out and attempt to find what you're looking for, and show you the prices in order from lowest to highest or however you want the cost sorted. Froogle often checks shops like www.dogfunk.com and www.evogear.com for their prices, so it makes comparing quite easy. One of the places I love to check prices; www.sierrasnowboard.com usually has a pretty solid collection of gear and the prices are insane at times, with up to 70% off. They are also currently giving away a snowboard everyday to users who are simply logged into their site during the giveaway. Check their site out for more information. So some places you should always check if you're looking for a thrifty deal:

http://www.evogear.com
http://www.backcountryoutlet.com
http://www.c3-shop.com/ (Capita, Union, Coal)
And always, always, always, check your local shops, because they usually have some solid deals. For example, 720 boardshop here in Centennial CO, currently has boards listed at 30% off. That's quite a savings on a board. If you know of, or shop at a thrify place for solid deals, please do let the rest of us know in the comments section.
