Early Season & Randomness

The early season is quickly approaching here in Colorado, as both A-Basin and Loveland continue their "Race to Open" competition.  I keep hearing rumors of either opening within the next week or two, which is exciting!   Unfortunately I may miss opening day as I'm heading out to Mexico City tomorrow for almost two weeks.   It seems like the season this year in CO may be a great season, as the temperatures are dropping early, and we got snow incredibly early this year. I'm stoked to take out a slew of new boards, and get some more reviews posted up.   Boards on the first list to review are Nitro,  Lib-Tech, GNU, and more.   Also going to take a look at Flux bindings this season as I've heard a lot of good things about them.   Reviews as always are always open to interpretation, and as such, please feel free to contribute any feedback to the site.    There are a lot of boards to choose from, even in the mid-wide/wide category.  Taking a look at the Wide Board Directory  I've put together, there is no shortage for even the pickiest of riders.   While I won't be able to cover all those boards, I'm going to make a solid effort at Demos this year to review as many boards as possible.   Boots I'm riding this year are the Flow One series, but am contemplating also putting on a pair of 32 Lashed boots to get a few more boot reviews going on the site.   I'll also be focusing on other outerwear accessories like gloves, beanies and things of this nature.

If there are any products you'd like to see reviewed, definitely let me know so I can make a list of gear that I know readers want to see first.    The season will be busy, and I'll be traveling to a few places, including the east coast, northwest, and some places in Europe, so some fun times should be had.

For now, I'm heading out to Mexico City tomorrow, and will try to post photos and such from the Journey.
