Absinthe Films Neverland Premier
This evening I ventured out to the Neverland Premier from Absinthe Films. Shay from shayboarder.com got me a ticket, for which I'm ever so thankful, because the show was sold out, and honestly, the video was insanely great! I just want to touch briefly on the film and the premier.
The premier was pretty damn awesome. Not only was the video insane, but DCP, MFM, and others were on hand to introduce the film, as well as discuss some environmental issues, we should all be concerned with. Riders such as Travis Rice tear it up in the video, and a lot of the footage is just insane. One of my favorite thing about Neverland was the riders from YES. snowboards tearing it up. YES has such an amazing story behind them, and everyone from YES is super cool, and down to earth. I'm looking forward to jumping on a YES board this season and tearing it up. If you get a chance to catch the Neverland premier in your city, do go check it out! If you don't have a premier in your city, hit up the Absinthe website and pickup a copy of Neverland!!! It's completely worth every single penny!

YES boards should be fun to ride- they are made by Nidecker Snowboards with the Marketing and Team aspect left to DCP etc. Probably the oldest snowboard (one of) companies around!! I had a Babs Pro Model in 1995 and it was a sick board!

Awesome, yeah I talked to Joe, while he was at 720 here in Denver, and he filled me in on the Nidecker connection etc. Definitely stoked to take a board out!
