The Boot: Wide Foot Much?
Sometimes it's hard to find a boot that fits right, or perhaps even comes close to fitting on some bigger people. Perhaps you have a wide foot, and don't like the tight feeling of your boots? Perhaps you want just a lil extra room? Enter Salomon, one of the few companies who actually make wide snowboard boots in this industry.

Salomon offers both the Synapse and Dialogue in wide sizing. The Synapse, a stiffer boot, is geared more at the all-mountain, where as the Dialogue is aimed more at the the Freestyle/Park riding with a softer flex. Both pairs of boots can be on the steeper side of boot pricing ($200+), but fortunately you can find some of last years offerings at pretty steep discounts at various online retailers. I'll be riding this season with the Synapse most likely, and will post an in depth review. I wanted to at least provide some initial information for those of you who are looking at boots for this season and have wide feet. Pics for this years boots:

For more information on the Synapse and Dialogue, definitely hit up the Salamon website which can be found here I borrowed these images from the site until I can get some of my own pictures, as usual with boots, please try them on if possible, and make sure the fit is what you're looking for. If anyone is riding these and wants to provide some feedback, please hit the comment section or email me. I'll keep digging for other boots that come in wide sizes.
